For the exhibition Form in Rem, Georgia McGovern presents rearranged text from a found piece of commercial propaganda for a new 800-foot-tall modern glass condominium tower located at One Manhattan Square on the Lower East Side. In the spirit of hand-painted signs, paper media, and mosaics that were formerly common in Downtown NYC, Georgia includes drawn pictures, gilded letters, and a few found collaged tokens from the neighborhood to accompany the text.
